Yes ladies, you read correctly. I have discovered the indestructible manicure and I am so excited to share the news!

CND (Creative Nail Design) has launched Shellac. This new product goes on like a polish and wears flawlessly for 14 days of high gloss shine.

Think of it as a mix between acrylic and polish, but with no sanding down of the nail. Unlike acrylic, your nail is not harmed or worn down in any way.

Shellac is offered in 12 shades and naturally, I went with a dark purple. I had my nails polished 11 days ago and there is not one single chip and they shine like I just walked out of the salon.

The Shellac treatment must be done at a nail salon. Since Shellac doesn't officially launch until May, not many salons and spas

are offering it just yet. via
